London Mela

So we decided to do something this weekend and there was a Mela in West London on. We went with Priyanka and her husband Saleem to Gunnersbury Park. It was quite a good day out with many stalls (predominantly food based), rides and various stages that were showcasing music or some cultural talent. It was a very multicultural event and much bigger and better organised that similar events in Australia.

All in all, a very good day out.

Gunnersbury Park is huge, the Mela was in only half of the park and that in itself was quite big
Pri and Nav relaxing with some chaat Main stage showcasing music, which was surprisingly very good
Nav and Saleem, posing for the ladies There were many rides there too, Ashika was too chicken to go on any of them
Cultural tent was showing these 'ladies' doing a dance The average age of these ladies would have been around 50
Despite their age, they did well Ashika and Pri checking out the eye candy
Music stage DJ Crash spining the 1's and 2's
Rishie Rich didn't perform, he just introduced some of his new signings to perform One of Rishie Rich's new signings
Nav and Ashika trying to blend in with the locals
Saleem and Pri taking in the sun (they advised us that this is one of the 3 days in the year that the sun shines in London).
