3rd - 11th May 2008Visiting Anzac cove and other sights of Turkey
Ok, so I'm not going to write a heck of a lot as it's 19 April 2009, almost 12 months after the tour began. We went through Travel Talk again the same mob we used when in Egypt. The itinerary was as follows:
Day 1 Istanbul
Day 2 Istanbul Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia Museum
Day 3 Gallipoli Kabatepe War Museum, Anzac Cove, Chunuk Bair, Lone Pine
Day 4 Troy, Pergamum, Selcuk
Day 5 Ephesus, Pamukkale
Day 6 Pamukkale, Cappadocia Underground City
Day 7 Cappadocia Goreme Open Air Museum, Cavusin, Uchisar, Pigeon Valley
Day 8 Cappadocia, Ihlara, Istanbul
Day 9 Istanbul
It wasn't as good as the Egypt tour, but we met a great couple who we regularly meet up with. They are Aussie too (yes you, Emma and Jeremy!!). Anyway, enojoy the pictures below.
